Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees

VICCIR provides trauma-informed, culturally safe and accessible mental health counselling for immigrants, refugees, and newcomer families on Vancouver Island. Sessions are available in person and online.

Mental health counselling

Individual, couple, child, youth, and family counselling is tailored to each person's needs. Fees are discussed case by case using a sliding-scale approach.

Specially trained interpreters and multilingual counsellors help clients communicate in the language that is best for their care.

VICCIR offers training and consultation to community members and agencies working with immigrants and refugees.
