Ask About Training or ConsultationVICCIR offers training and consultation to sponsorship groups, teachers and schools, settlement agencies, mental health and public health workers, police and community services, and other organizations supporting immigrants and refugees.
Conversations and workshops can address trauma-informed and culturally sensitive support, newcomer mental health concerns, welcoming and integration, clear boundaries, and self-care for people in supporting roles.

The organization and VICCIR agree on the topic, participants, timing, and any applicable fee before proceeding.
VICCIR is based in Victoria and its community work supports newcomer-serving partners across Vancouver Island. Contact VICCIR to discuss location and delivery options for a specific request.
Community training and consultation are separate from a personal counselling referral. People seeking counselling can use VICCIR's dedicated referral form.
