The Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees invites you to Women's Voices, a safe and confidential place where women who have experienced gender-based violence can meet, share, and support each other in a healing process.

At VICCIR we believe that your voice matters. We want to offer you a space where you can share your story with people who listen with empathy, respect, and without judgment.

Women’s Voices is a support group aimed at women who want a space to process their experiences related to gender-based violence and intergenerational trauma. The sessions will be facilitated by registered clinical counselors from VICCIR and will focus on strengthening resilience and promoting emotional well-being.

Each session will last 90 minutes and will include spaces for conversation, reflection, and expressive art activities.

Participation is free and the sessions will be held in English and Spanish. For in-person sessions, free childcare will be provided.
